My stay at Hotel Hacienda Sueno Azul was a mix of serene nature and some disappointing aspects. The rooms offered stunning views of the lake and were spacious. yet the facilities seemed a little neglected. While I enjoyed the vibrant wildlife around the hotel, I found the restaurant options lacking, leaving me to eat out during my stay.

My junior suite was spacious with beautiful views of the park around the lake. though I was disappointed that one of the jacuzzis was not working. The room had nice coffee making facilities, but felt a bit rustic without glass in the windows.

The service was okay. the girl at reception didn’t speak English, and I felt a lack of information about activities around the hotel. I appreciated that staff were willing to help arrange excursions.
